Heidelberg, Germany

Saturday we were planning a day trip, Adam wanted to go see Heidelberg, then decided we should go to Strasbourg, France.  Well, we stopped to get gas and I realized we forgot to grab our passports so we went to Heidelberg instead.  We checked out the castle, had lunch, and walked through the shopping area.  It was a nice little city and we will probably go back when my sister Sarah comes in late December.

 This was quite entertaining.  I told patience to go look at the man.  She assumed it was a statue so she walked right up to check it out.  She turned to walk back to us and he reached out and tapped her on top the head.  She turned around confused and I think a bit scared lol.  She ran back to us and he waved so I gave her money to but in his box and he let her get up on his box for a picture with him.  She was a bit embarrassed that everyone was watching.

We had roasted hazelnuts for the first time.  Very yummy!  You have to eat them hot though, once they get cold they dont taste as good.
